| So I just remembered my password.... Maybe writing will release everything. Life after graduation really isn't what I thought it would. No adult tells you that life isn't fun when you become an adult. I wish they would have told me. | | |
| Dear Santa, It's me, Mandi. Surprised, that I'm writing you...yeah me too. Hypothetically I'd like to say that I've been a good girl, but I think the jury is still out on that one. I probably haven't been as nice as I should be or as caring as I could be. Let's face it...I've been quite rotten at times and I truly am sorry. In the event that I'm not on the naughty list & I actually get gifts I've made this small list. - The WGA Writer's Strike to end. It's already Day 34. I support the writers, but wish that they could settle a new contract.
- World Peace. A little cliche I know. Maybe it could be better worded as peace among those who I live with.
- Fairy Dust. I'd like to go to Neverland.
I hope that I have been a good enough girl to get at least one thing off my list. If I do get coal, I completely understand. Next year, I'll be better...I swear. Cookies & Milk, Mandi | | |
| Yes, it's quite true. I'm Queen of Senior Sem again this week. No, I don't think anyone really knows this except me and the people reading this, which makes it basically me still. Guess who forgot the deadline for the outline? Well, it wasn't me or the professor. There only two students in the class, so do the math. *Allows time to do math* This will most likely lead back to me being the Queen of Senior Sem. this week. | | |
| So, I'm using Xanga, among other websites, as a procrastination tool. If I were being the good little college student, I would still be typing up my outline for RE 450, Senior Sem/ Project for Religion Majors, but apparently I'm not. This is only the beginning of the end, I fear. October 28-November 3: Outlines for Senior Sem. & 401 are due. November 4-10: Oral presentation in History of Ancient Greece & rough draft for 401 is due November 11-17: RE 450 rough draft due & 401 final paper due & History of Ancient Greece rough draft due November 18-24: Presentation in 401 November 25-December 1: Meeting with Goedert over History of Ancient Greece rough draft December 2-December 8: Papers due in History of Ancient Greece & Senior Sem. Then FINALS! Lucky me I only have two...and one of them is Badminton. Okay! Back to work! | | |
| Like a lot of other people I make to-do lists. Maybe I outdo most by obsessively making them, but at least I know what I have to do because it's on a list. This weekend I had a lengthly lists that included researching three paper topics, studying for a test, writing a paper, and having dinner and a movie Friday. I only accomplished writing the paper and going out to dinner and a movie. Of course, my three papers that needed to be researched aren't due tomorrow, nor is my test then. It's the whole idea, I meant to do things that needed to be done, but I chose to have a break, a weekend and not do a lot. It makes me feel awful. Just another thing to make me feel bad. That's a long list as well. | | |
